Johnny Johnson recalls: The 1959 R.L. Cousins High School basketball team was 19-0 under Coach Charles Tinsley; they played an exhibition game against the professional Harlem Wizards. All this took place in the Washington Street gym on Sand Hill. Team members included: Eddie "Bay" Hardeman, Phillip Hardeman, Billy Middleton, Jerrry Roseberry, Herman Johnson. (Please help us in identifying other team members.)

Since there are no team trophies accessible to commemorate the Wolverines 1965 season, below is a picture of the plaque given to all team members. (submitted by Johnny Johnson - Team Captain - 1965)
